Watch what they do, not what they say. A neat property of applied AI is you can detect it and furthermore, if you see someone accomplishing something with AI, the existence proof is there to be able to do it yourself. It is like airplanes. Read the biography of the Wright Brothers by David McCullough and realize air travel is only about twice as old as AI. We will all have it. It is more important to provide the very best education in a free society and to keep balanced relations between all countries as George Washington taught us in his last farewell.
