These are not neuro correlations. It’s behavioral. If you can’t read because the letters never make quick sense, then you will try to hide this. You, like anybody, will try to hide it (as a kid), and you will find ways to lie successfully so as not to let on that you can’t read or write very well. This kind of dyslexia is not fixable. However, people who have it can often hide it from many people. Intermodal mapping failures and oddities are not well understood (computationally) except we see the projections that make for successful ones in the brain. The old ‘labelled lines’ principle, that your brain knows a signal came in visually or auditorily may be a cause of dyslexia (in some forms) for example, if the lines are not labelled or simply absent in some fashion. But no, I know of no neural mechanism aside from this behavioral one that associates dyslexia with other abnormal behaviors, except through the reinforcement of lying successfully.
As such, what Trump has is a syndrome in the classical sense, and not a particularly special one, except he has always had a lot of money to insulate his abnormalities from the realities of the world the rest of us live in. I tend to concur with Mary Trump about the causes of the pathological parts, and see the dyslexia something he was just born with.
See just as an example, this.
