The point of this article is evidenciary truth. I do believe I heard at least two other of his supporters say Trump had integraty during the 'Republican convention.' That does not make it true. A second point is that if you ascribe a person to have intentionally lied, you have a much harder time.

That said, if you are not accusing people, but just the lies, you have a much easier time proving the lie. Proving every one of those sentences said by Voight looks to me like it is pretty easy to prove they are lies (each with perhaps a different confidence) with direct evidence.

The easiest is to prove motive (even if you cannot necessarily prove they are willful lies).

I personally would not find his rather modest wealth after a lifetime of work to cause him to like Trump. Now, if he was a member of Trump's golf club..that might be a different matter ... related to his wealth.
