A better trick is to get the face pictures of all the local police or other local people, make masks out of these, and wear them, or paste them on. Deep fakes. The face recognition will always work and it hopefully it will not alert anybody to anything. If you are just trying to trick one camera just for you, use theatrical makeup to match someone who could be where you are.
