Thanks for the conversation. I appreciate that you looked at that article. I have in fact been a scientist trying to figure out a computational understanding of how the intermodal neocortex computes for 50 years. My studies of human truth and lies started back then, in 1969 (at Emory in Atlanta).

I wrote a book "How to get your (good) lies back: The Internet Court of Lies" on Amazon, but the following Medium article summarizes the learning of 50 years. While we still do not know how the human computes these things in a scientifically rigorous way, we do know a lot more than we did back when I started. Or even a year ago.

If you haven't read this, I think you might find it interesting. The is the free summary of the whole book. It is also the first of over 400 articles I have put on Medium on the subject in the last year.

I really am a scientist and I really am a Christian. So, frankly, I don't hate any human being. Never have since my teens. I have been intrigued by how this miracle of the human mind works. I do have my own beliefs about what is true and what are deceits. But I do most certainly also believe our current science in all disciplines barely understood what God has given us to understand. As one fun faq: we still don't have any idea why magnetic attraction and repulsion happen. In Physics it is just a +1 and -1. In the mid 1800s there was huge effort on this with the result of James Clerk Maxell...still not solving the puzzle but changing all human lives on the planet with his mathmatical conclusion that electricity and magnetism are the same thing. Similarly for what we know about how the brain works. But we are getting closer. As we did with understanding the diverse sets of facts about electrical and magnetic phenomena.

I am definitely voting Biden and down ballot and have proposed a liar test for all elected and appointed officials from the science. Scientifically, there is a tell. The liar test also suggests that Geo. Washington was not a legend. He was actually a man that we can know very well. This person who wrote about Washington's lies, integrity, and character lived in Mt. Vernon as the Rector of Columbia (remember "District of Columbia?"). He made his living selling books. Not a bad thing. Later biographers have bad mouthed this guy, by the way. But if you read him you might disagree..

Finally, as a Christian, I do hold Trump and his sycophants accountable for certain things. I do not believe his lies, character, and integrity are suitable for President by any stretch of the imagination.

Just say'n. Again, thanks for the conversation. I appreciate it.
