Sorry but a lot of what you say is not true. Trump is a pretty standard personality type and you have a flawed understanding of him.
Trump is a dyslexic narcissistic schizoid psychopath. This is mainly a learned condition although there is a innate disposition (see the article above). It is known to be incurable.

We know there is no cure. The general recommendation is just to stay clear of such people. (Read the book "Almost a Psychopath" in the first article above to see how common his sociopathy ism is, and to read other experts giving exactly this advice).
Certainly never vote for a psychopath (or sociopath). Ever. There is no "mental illness" treatment that works once people learn how to effectively use lies to have 'success' in life for themselves ... but not for you.

DeSantis is also a psychopath, by the way, but not a dyslexic one, and almost certainly with a higher IQ than Trump. As the book "Almost a Psychopath" points out with many detailed examples, this syndrome results in the expectation that no two sociopaths or psychopaths are exactly the same. This disorder is a syndrome, not a mental illness per se, If I were to call anybody a malignant narcissist it would be Trump's father. Trump is a psychopath.
The pills you give such people are just to keep them doped up and unable to be dangerous and evil. Like similarly crazy dogs who attack people, an "upper" will calm them down and potentially make them appear less evil. Trump is on these (Adderall). Note the date on my first article above: This syndrome only gets worse. You have observed Trump only getting worse, I hope. Also, Hitler was a clear psychopath like Trump.
