Sad. I don't know what code is if it is not ideas. That said, why did he name it Linux if it was not Unix? When I was faculty at Rutgers (76-78) and my wife-to-be at Bell Labs supporting "Programmers Workbench Unix" ... her job was writing shell scripts since Unix at that time was just a toolset for shells, we knew where the IP was. I long ago wrote about my critiques of the unfortunate system of IP we have today. I'll stand by my words. Torvalds and others contributing to the Unix revolution have all done good work.
