In my world UX meant "Unix" not User eXperience.

That said, everything you said is right if I define "insight" as anything anybody would call "insight" which is a perfectly proper way to define "insight".

There are deeper reasons you are right. Here are three papers (in good reading sequence for the deeper insights on insight):
