If you want to understand the human brain mechanisms for your rambles and your ideas of science, they are pretty approachable in today's computational cognitive neuroscience. The answer they give agrees with Descartes... No matter what you know about something, there is more to know which is also scientifically (i.e., observationally) true. It never stops, because natural intermodal brain computation makes it that way. BTW: we are clueless about the details of these computations but see them, like stars in the night sky. I call the stars Psi functions...you know as perceptrons or functionally similar to them (deep learning).
