I have thought that we have been in living in a Dictatorship for about two years now, but Masha Gessen, a Russian born New York Times writer, in her book "Surviving Autocrasy" corrected me.

She said that half of the US population are living in the Dictatorship (Autocracy) of Trump, and half are not. She is warning the half not, will be under it soon. She also addresses other Dictatorships and how and why they happen, and what happens in the society, and how they escape.

This is her book:

In my own study of lies, I have identified "Dictator Lies" as lies that may be perfectly truthful, factually, but with the deceit lurking in the motivation of behind what is said. The deceitful motivation, correctly stated by Charles Chaplin in his 1940 movie, "The Great Dictator" is to take the Liberty of all the people away in order to have it solely by the Dictator himself. The movie is explained here along with the clip of Chaplin saying this, and a reference to how to get the entire movie.

People think that Trump tells the truth, but as Chaplin says, "He Lies!" But he may well be telling factual truth. The tell, from my study of Mendaciology, www.medium.com/liecatcher is that he also freely tells factually untrue lies freely and without remorse. Every Dictator has this tell.

Back when I was growing up in the South was that people who factually lied were fired immediately. It was not honorable to factually lie. Best be silent than lie. This clearly changed, in my experience with Gindrich in the House and his attempt at the Presidency. Now, factual lying is a good thing as revenge. This article also points out that Geo. Washington's main theme in his Farewell Address to the American People, still read at the beginning of every Senate Session (before Gindritch, the US. House Too), was the Farewell Address.

From the "tell" of a person who is willing to lie about his motivation for telling the truth, namely free reign factual lying, you have a person unfit for elected, or for that matter, executive office in any company or organization.

This tell is the basis for my argument for a fitness test for anyone running for office. The "tell" tells you whether the person respects your right to Liberty, or not.

Here is my article on all this with the pointers to the evidence you can observe for yourself.
