That said, truth only works when it can break through the trust of others. This unfortunately is the computational cognitive neuroscience of that. As a young student you trusted your teachers, so truth broke through. This is why education is all important. To effect things you must first gain the trust of the people you wish to bring truth to. For children that is relatively easy. For adults who already have hardened on who they trust, not so much.
