Generally, it has been noted historically, autocracies become absolute under a single leader when he/she has unilateral control over about six different 'secret services' that can all effect executions. It makes it impossible for anyone who might want to report something to be confident he won't be found out. I suspect there are a lot more murders than the ones we see. Unless, of course, some native Russian speaker with cultural knowledge digs into things. For instance, how many people in Russia die by window (or pavement)? There might be ways to guess that and compare with other countries. P.S. the USA has about six already. It just takes one dictator to start ordering people around. Remember the prison guards that Traitor Barr brought out without any indications of who they were?
