Another excellent stanza.
This is a great manifestation of vengeance by voice. This brings clear the argument that George Washington made in his farewell address about vengeance. He said, just as clearly, that the desire for vengeance is inescapable.
With government's obligation to protect the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of all, there must be laws to put limits on it.
Just as inevitable, it leads to lies. To keep a republic, the people must not use vengeance to obstruct the operation of government both in law and in norms (which he calls "habits").
If Hermeros is lying Ad Hominin, this is precisely what people must eschew.
If not, that is the question.
The answer is that unless fixed to law, it is perhaps what you must say to seek rightful justice.
The science says that this type of fiat (suspected) lying can only be moderated to keep peace and liberty is by dialogue with others on precisely the Ad Hominin attacks for each precise claim of truth.
Enforced moderated dialogue keeps the vengeance of voice from becoming tragically wrong vengeance of action.
Great stanza.
