I never thought I would see the day
When books looked superfluous.
I saw, the day before yesterday,
The world.

I leapt about, from Japan, to Here, to
To Finland,
To Italy.
Like it was nothing.

And I…

This is an excellent article. I might paint a different future in detail, but not particularly in substance. That is, until I get to the point of trying to figure how we avert such a future.

The essence of the American experiment was never democracy per se. Rather it was…

If you want to understand the human brain mechanisms for your rambles and your ideas of science, they are pretty approachable in today's computational cognitive neuroscience. The answer they give agrees with Descartes... No matter what you know about something, there is more to know which is also scientifically (i.e., observationally) true. It never stops, because natural intermodal brain computation makes it that way. BTW: we are clueless about the details of these computations but see them, like stars in the night sky. I call the stars Psi know as perceptrons or functionally similar to them (deep learning).

And if you haven't read the same truthful side from the other side of the pond, read Naomi Klein. Here is my book review on her latest book. Capitalism isn't bad, except in the hands of divisive, improvident, liars. NEVER VOTE FOR A LIAR.

Before talking about Clive, and the tragedy and truth he gives us, let’s get our lies straight.

Where do lies come from? It depends on what your brain thinks about the brains of other people, unless you use science.

In which case, we kinda know where lies come from.

I didn't say it was so great that the rich own, manage, and dictate the means of ..production...

First, you presuppose that they do. And second you think I am saying that is great. Both are lies as partial truths.

Actually, if you are a contractor, you are in business…
